1964 First Race Start 60th Anniversary Collector Medallion

In November 1964, Dick Johnson lined his No. 38J Holden FJ up at Lakeside for his first ever race start. At just 19, he could never have known that 60 years later, this race would be the start of his journey to become one of Australia’s most iconic motorsport figures and founder of the country’s oldest and most recognisable race team.

About This Product:

This two-sided metal medallion is one of four medallions to be produced, celebrating the anniversaries of milestones in Dick Johnson's career that fall in 2024. This medallion celebrates the 60th anniversary of Dick Johnson’s first race start at Lakeside in November of 1964, driving the No. 38J Holden FJ. Measuring 50mm in diameter and 3mm thick, the medallion comes in a blue velvet box featuring a specially designed 2024 anniversary medallion logo to provide the perfect level of protection over time.
